Best wishes to the Groom and Groom …..

……..well, not quite yet! They will actually be getting married in London in three weeks time - a very quiet affair with just two witnesses and both sets of parents - so this is a time for us to celebrate as a family. 

Simon and Lloyd have been engaged for seven years - Lloyd having proposed under the Northern Lights in Iceland matching Daniel’s proposal to Solveig on a beach in Zanzibar! There was once talk of a full-on wedding in a North Wales venue - they even came up to view a number of possibilities. But in the end Simon felt the expense just couldn’t be justified - and the fuss was just unnecessary.  The years have passed and to be honest, we’ve been expecting them to get hitched abroad, only telling us when they returned, so the London wedding is a definite bonus! Much as I like dressing up for a wedding, I’m rather glad that this is a casual affair as at the moment planning outfits is a major problem! 

So today there are two photos - one of the boys and partners and one of us with the happy couple. Daniel is not really drinking two glasses of champagne - one is mine (goodness knows why I didn’t hand it to G), and Solveig is drinking  Nozeco! And, yes, we’re very casual - eating out in the garden on another rather chilly day!
