Green Lacewing

Found in the colander when picking fruit this morning.  The first photo wasn’t good, however when in the kitchen dealing with all those heads and tails of Worcesterberries it was sat on this berry.  A few berries are ready, most are almost there, gooseberries the same. This year we have totalled all blackcurrants placed in the freezer, todate just over ten kilos. They are easier to pick better, than the other two berries with thorns.  Whatever it takes the fruit is much appreciated throughout the winter months.

From the internet
The Common green lacewing is a familiar garden insect with copper eyes, green, lacy wings, and a green body. It turns pinkish-brown in the autumn. However, the different species of green lacewing are very difficult to tell apart.
