WILTING SUNFLOWERS ! !

These flowers I purchased on Friday from the Co op, must say they were looking sad but at £2 who could complain& who doesn’t like a bargain? I cut off 2 inches of stem & put them into a long drink & magic the flowers revived but the leaves sadly struggled? However they deserved a blip as the blooms are still going.
Struggle is the operative word today, the early rain seems to stiffen my bones up, but hey ho it’s another day tomorrow!
I need to do a bit of prep as we have our Zoom group tonight.
Not much more going on today except the exciting tennis DJOKOVIC isn’t getting all his own way at present but this may change rapidly? So it’s a wait & see game? )
