Weekend reading.

On a Saturday only I have the FT Weekend. Too financial during the week, but Saturday I enjoy Robin Lane Fox’s gardening column. He’s a classicist, ancient historian, gardening writer, Emeritus Fellow of New College Oxford and Reader in Ancient History University of Oxford. He’s also father of Baroness Martha Lane Fox. His gardening column is always entertaining, although half of the columns are not in accord with what I practice in the garden, but it’s always worth looking at an opposing idea.
