Hot, Hot, Hot!

The heat index is near 100F today with possible thunderstorms this evening. For me heat isn’t so bad but the added humidity makes it near intolerable. I feel for all those who have no choice and have to work outdoors, especially construction and road crews • I dashed out this morning to water new plantings, and all are looking good. MrsP and I will do our best to amuse ourselves indoors. I’ve got laundry going and doing some sporadic cleaning. Newt is happily snoozing the day away in a favorite spot. We’re also following the devastation in central Texas after the horrific July 5th flash river flood. So many lives lost, including young children, with many still missing • Peace & Love
