Carnage

The last day of module two and it was another good day.

I had a snooze at the top of Fort Dunlop at lunchtime and my young padawan joined me. She is off to the Henley Regatta tomorrow.

Before the end of the course, I checked my train journey and lo and behold there were problems. As we set off in the taxi, my train was cancelled and so were all other trains heading to south Wales. I looked at my options and it was either go with everyone else to London and then back out to south Wales or catch a bus. I decided to catch a bus, but I eventually made it home just before midnight.

I’m supposed to be in London first thing, but I’m going to cancel it. I am exhausted.

Today I am thankful for:

1. Plenty of laughs with my young padawan
2. A good second day of our training programme
3. Finally making it home after the train disasters
