What Is It?

We walked down to the Old Prison Café this afternoon to see if I could get a Mono Monday 'metal' image from the farm equipment display there. We arrived near to closing time and had to have our drinks in takeaway cups as they didn't want to be washing up any more. My scone came on a paper plate too, though I did get jam and clotted cream.

There wasn't much time for photos, and the few that I got looked much better in colour anyway. No idea what this contraption did, Google suggests some sort of sickle bar mower. A little bit of HDR has brought out the rusty texture of the wheel, which got lost with a mono conversion.

In other news the window cleaner came today. Same price as last time which was a relief.

Also I phoned our car insurance provider to cancel the renewal later this month. They reduced the price by £96. Not enough.
