The Final Bend

With Chris on his way to Cardiff and Tess and I marshalling, it was left to Kate to do the running on our behalf at this morning’s Park Run.

We were stationed at the final corner before the finish (or at least it is on the last lap) where I took this photo of Kate and our Park Run friend, Debs, summoning up the sinews for a final “sprint”.

The good thing about marshalling on our 3 lap course is that there’s nearly always someone running past to encourage and you get to see them all 3 times; the challenge is finding original words of encouragement by the last lap!

After that it was the routine of the weekly shop, a walk and watching France outclass the Lionesses at Euro25
