Cats.

Looking out of an upstairs window, this morning, I spotted next door’s cat jump up onto their garden table. It just sat there for ages looking round. I think it was after the birds but fortunately I don’t think it caught any. The blackbirds like to nest in the ivy every year but they fledged weeks ago.
Any how it provided me with a blip for today.

It has been a warm sunny day with a strong breeze. Good for drying the washing, but blowing the garden to bits yet again.
Spent an hour or so tidying up the garden. Dead heading etc. Fortunately the brown bin will be emptied on Thursday as it is full again.

We had a very enjoyable time at the Diamond Wedding Anniversary party. Managed to walk down without getting wet. Only been there a few minutes when the heavens opened. Most dashed inside but a few of us sheltered under the gazebo. Water poured off the top. Fortunately only lasted a few minutes.
It was nice looking at all the old photographs Margaret had got out, and having a good catchup with people we haven’t seen for ages.
Again managed to dodge the showers walking home.
