We haven’t been to Laura’s Chinese restaurant for ages given the focus on Scotland in the last few months. She has always taken a very keen interest in all things blips, often pointing out possible blips out to us, and hosts an art competition in the restaurant every year. We met in the street today just as she came out her apartment block 100m from the restaurant that she and her husband have had for well over twenty years. It was a little escape for us during Covid when it opened up for carry outs only and she smuggled us into a hidden corner for an illegal beer while we waited for the ashets containing our dishes to be ready! Bliss!
