I made some jam

A member of staff brought some gooseberries into work today. I commented on the fact you don't see gooseberries for sale these days.
The cook was going to use them in some recipe, then was informed by our manager that she can't food brought in by staff that has been grown in their own gardens!!
The cook gave them to me, as she said she was the only one in her family that like them. I was going to make a crumble but there was only a small quantity, so I made jam. The cook had just mentioned she loves gooseberry jam so I'll take some in for her.
