Poppy and a fly

There was rain overnight and first thing this morning. The flowers looked lovely when the sun came out.  I hadn't noticed thefly on the wet poppy until I looked at the photo on the computer.

I picked I up from school this afternoon and stayed for tea when her parents had finished work.  A lovely middle Eastern selection that O had made withtomatoes and French beans from the garden. Mine aren't ready yet.
