My ukulele class meets in a church hall and there is an old graveyard next door where there are some tragic stories on the headstones.  On this particular one the mother died at the age of 32 in 1878, and then there was a list of children who died young, including this baby who died at 5 days old.  It just sort of pulls you up short really.
