Mono Monday ...
... Metal (cup).
As the weather is supposed to be very hazy, hot and humid today I was up and out in the sunroom photographing the wildlife early. I have to get up a little bit earlier on Monday's anyway because of some meds that I take that I can't have anything to eat or drink (no coffee!!) for 30 minutes after taking it ... and I can't go back to bed either. So I used the half hour before having my coffee to do something useful for a change.
I knew I had this little metal (tin) cup amongst my squirrel props so I put it out filled with peanuts. Most of my squirrels are wimps these days and this squirrel's body language says it all. Gone are the days I can put any prop out and have the squirrels readily take the peanuts. Oh well ...
Thanks to JacZero for hosting Mono Monday this month. It's nice to see repeat hosts after they've only done it once before.
In other news: Because of the unbearable heat and humidity today in lieu of a walk we drove to SteelStacks as I wanted to get some photos of all the metal. It's the old Bethlehem Steel property that's been repurposed as an entertainment venue. But the old blast furnaces still remain in place ... rusting away. I did process a photo from here but found it a little flat and one note ... especially in mono.
