Lie in, errands, cuppa & commute

Lie in - the sofa in our back room makes for a lovely night's sleep and for much of a lazy morning too! Not for strictly lazy reasons though, and starting a run of nightshifts so it helps with that.

Errands - laundry stuff at home, dropping my repeat prescription into the GP, collecting youngests from the chemist, and attending an appointment in Ashton.

Cuppa - after getting over the shock of youngest involuntarily cleaning her room, I sat in the garden to enjoy a large cuppa in my Hug Mug.

Commute - had intended going to work in the Leaf, hoping to do a quick job on it on my break if quiet enough. As it happened though, Dad rang at ten to six to say the southside of the M60 that I commute on was closed due to a serious accident, so on went my bike gear and of this Gal trundled on the little bike that can, riding via Marple & Hazel Grove, filtering through miles of crawling traffic avoiding the motorway. Made it just in time. Hope know one was seriously injured in the accident.
