Mom moves

A good day. The move from Rehab to a new Memory Care went very well. We talked about this yesterday with Mom, so it was familiar to her when we came to pack up her belongings. Steve took them in the car to the new place and I went in the Transport Van with Mom in a wheelchair. A short ride and we got her moved in and settled... 

I am so happy for her, as a dedicated Memory Care is what she needs. She will be getting the care and attention and understanding she deserves. A big sigh of relief, such a journey and I'm glad to be at this point in it. It's so wonderful she was relaxed during this transition and happily let us take take care of things for this move... and was laughing! Thank you, Steve. What a joy. Hopefully this can continue as she settles in, although we try to have no expectations.
