Impromptu evening meal

Couldn’t get a booking at the restaurant we wanted, so made a quick call for dinner—grabbed two portions of chips from the onsite place, added a tin of Branston beans, then topped it all with crispy chilli flakes and fried onions. A pile of tasty goodness (!) The only photo taken today!

Spent the morning at the pool—arrived early while all the kids were still asleep and bagged a couple of loungers. Back to the van for lunch leftovers.

Started The Life Impossible by Matt Haig on Audible. Joanna Lumley narrates it beautifully, though her voice keeps lulling me to sleep—I’m forever rewinding.

Ended the day with a long walk along the beach to bump up our step count. We did have a little swim too.
