My contribution is a metal corkscrew that has to be at least 75 years old (I suspect older) - I remember it, in the kitchen drawer, from when I was a child.

Interesting (?) fact  -  the corkscrewy/twirly bit is actually called "the worm".

Having had a bit of an internet search I think it may be what is called " a four finger corkscrew" and is possibly Victorian.   I do know that it feels lovely to hold and works extremely well - not that we often have corks to pull!!!

As with a lot of bits and pieces I have, it was my Mum's - and is now mine.
