Alaya 24, Kent's All Ford Show, Aylesford

Another Sunday so all the usual stuff but luckily, again, there was another event on at The Friars, Kent's All Ford Show. It was only a fiver each to get in and we knew it would be a great place to get more images for our on going project. The sun mostly stayed out this time so we really enjoyed our stroll around it and having a chat with some of the owners.
With the main image I saw possibly the youngest Formula 1 driver of all time (they seem to be getting younger and younger with each passing year!) zig zagging through the parked cars that were on display. They re-emerged  and there was my shot. I'm presuming the man and woman were the parents but I did like the oddness of his father's head under the bonnet and his mother holding up a personalised number plate.
I thought I'd try shooting through the cars rather that just taking pictures of them with the two extras. With the first I loved the lettering on the windscreen and then I noticed the striking girl with the headphones so I knew I had to capture her. With the last extra I wanted to make a more complex frame so I waited a few seconds to see if anything would happen and then the girl appeared with her ice cream and strode purposefully across the grass to try and catch up with her brother (you can see his legs beneath the rear view mirror).
Soon enough it was time to head home as we had the weekly food shop in the boot of the car and it was getting pretty humid and very warm. This time the weather was on our side as five minutes after we got home the thunderstorms kicked in and it absolutely chucked it down. The poor car owners and the crowds enjoying the display must have got absolutely soaked.
