Time is an interesting concept… length of day varies, seasons come and go , empires rise and fall, we look back in time, we look ahead…

5 years ago my mum passed away…where has that time gone??

Sorting her modest estate has been a very painful ordeal …time that felt would never end…I won’t trouble you with..there is no life changing inheritance ….but enough for a bucket list treat..

A watch brand that some love , some loathe, some are rather too flash about….

I have always fancied one of the more discreet models and so here you have it… a datejust 41mm with fairly new release mint green dial…

It’s a nuts experience buying a Rolex … you can’t just walk into a store and buy one…every watch is display only… expect to wait at least 12 months or longer… I know someone in the trade and whilst I absolutely did not ask to queue jump.. he kindly did that for me.

apologize if you think this unduly flash and it’s insane spending that much on a watch…it is a bit on both counts…

For me it is a lifetime asset to treasure and have something to mark my mum rather than frittering it away on stuff soon forgotten.
