Ready for the picking!

The BIG news today was my gestor (a bit like an accountant here) managing to get me an appointment for a replacement permanent residence card. Remember it was stolen last August?! I’ve been trying since then to secure an appointment at the National Police station. Yes, almost a year! You can’t turn up without an appointment and you can only make one online. Eventually, I asked our gestor if he could help and I also paid another agency to try to help me get one. Magically, although our gestor did say he had to jump through some hoops, he secured me one for tomorrow! The agency haven’t been successful yet. Watch this space. My permanent status and right to work is still current and correct, just the physical card missing. This card is now needed to complete a bureaucratic nightmare for work!
