I was going to garden in the morning and go on a blip bus ride in the afternoon.

I was later starting than I expected. Cut the front lawn and was sitting on the garden bench with a drink before starting the back when I spotted a possible photo of some longer grasses in the lawn I was about to cut. Camera out and blip sorted.

A chat with a neighbour and a hunt for missing secateurs took up a lot of time.

With only a short lunch stop it was 2 o’clock when I got all the jobs done and then I retreated indoors out of the afternoon sun.

An evening of Wimbledon on tv is ahead.
