A quiet place

This is the lovely garden at the back of Hexham Hospital where I was sitting this morning, in the sunshine and the quiet and with my book of course, whilst Gordon was undergoing a procedure (one of those that is undignified more than it is painful!). Just a precaution and all is well.

I had other photos, as we returned, after visiting Waitrose, via the Roman Road and watched many walkers along the way.

But in the end I needed a quiet, contemplative photo as I thought about the news of the sudden death of Ken (Knottman2), who has been for many years, and for many people, a good friend and a much valued Blipfriend. A lovely man, whose enthusiasm and humour will be much missed.
