Heathrow Terminal 5 British Airways Club Lounge

Well, I made it to Heathrow! With all the BA points I've accumulated over the years was able to get a free flight, Fast Track check-in and security, and endless cake, Prosecco and Diet Coke in the Club Lounge. Fingers crossed everything else goes smoothly over the next six days...

After 5hrs sleep (problem with K and the dogs and the police!), finished packing, whipped to the shops in Bath with my brother, then to the hospital to see Dad. Spoke to doc who said if I had the chance to get away now I should take it as Dad likely to be at the hospital for the long haul (maggot therapy is the next stage!!).

So D kindly drove me to Heathrow and I'm now waiting for my boarding gate to be announced. It'll be a late arrival in Hannover so an early blip today.
