So it turns out this place has ready access to the Speyside Way and four miles down the track, after scaring the bejesus out of a runner and saying hello to an early morning walker, you find yourself in the bustling heart of Aviemore where an M&S petrol station will sell you something to fill that breakfast cereal gap in the provisions.

After breakfast I got to do it all again with M on her wee electric bike. This time there was ice cream. After a bit of a nap the afternoon was spent on that most enjoyable of camping pastimes - watching other people put up their tents.
