In hot water !

Our new boiler is fitted. At one point it looked like the two guys (who were very good) might need a third day to finish off but a third guy arrived and all was finished just after 5.  Order has started to be restored in the house. 

I find it really tiring having people working in the house - however I was at least able to "escape" a few hours - lunch with VC at the Theatre (the first of four visits this week !) followed by my "other" bookgroup.  

I also managed a swim in the morning which I *really* enjoyed.

In today's other news I realised I'd double booked myself for Sept 22nd which seems crazy given it is so far ahead. However with help from an understanding blipper we found an alternative date (in Nov !).
