...I've been today?

Deck chairs and ice cream were, very much, the order of the day.

A day off work for a day out to meet up with a friend who is celebrating their 60th birthday. That in itself is quite startling both for me and her. How does 60 creep up on you for her and how did I get so old that my pals are now celebrating their 60th birthdays?

My parents came too and we had a lovely lunch and wander round the, rather parched but isn't everywhere, gardens.

Ps my pal wasn't over enamoured when I congratulated her on entering her 7th decade... She can get her own back on me in 6 years!

Pps there's extras that won't persist when I begin to run low at the end of the year.
