Tuesday: Teasels in the Sunshine

Weather varied from very calm and very warm - MrD took advantage of this to pop over the wall and use the strimmer to cut back brambles, nettles and grass so there’s access to the manhole cover for the drain which sometimes has problems during the summer :-((
By afternoon it was blowing a gale and chilly :-((

MrD’s van had a problem with a sensor connected to a wheel, requiring it to go into the  garage for a few hours.

I pottered around the garden just checking on what plants I’ve still got in pots, need to collect everything together but that has to wait for another day!

Refilled the posh bird bath and the birds were soon queuing up for a splash about in the water - Robin, Blackbirds and Sparrows, I tried to take photos but too far away, I wasn’t going to move closer and scare them off so just watched from afar :-)
