Had the joy of a five and a half hour stay in A and E today. I managed to get bitten by an infected tick whilst walking in the hills over the last few weeks and it’s resulted in Lyme disease. I’ve nipped it in the bud though….spotted the rash and on the antibiotics before starting to feel poorly. Fortunately I have people close to me who know the signs.
