Falls of Measach
We had another lovely day, another waterfall (or 4).
Browsing Google for "attractions" nearby brought up Corrieshalloch Gorge. It looked pretty good, so we decided to make it our destination today.
We were not disappointed. It was an excellent walk past several smaller falls to the main attraction.
It's difficult to capture in a photo the depth of this gorge. To reach this viewpoint, I crossed the 150 year old suspension bridge. W didn't.
After I'd returned to him, we walked round Lady Fowler's Fern Walk. I love ferns, I would like to introduce a few more to the ditch in our garden. We also spotted the first orchids we'd seen on this trip.
Afterwards, cake and a cuppa at the cafe. We didn't feel a need to find anything else to fill our time, made a fairly early return to our cottage.
