Moffat

We took a wee trip out to Moffat today, had a wander along the river walk then lunch in a cafe.  Made a contrast to the last time we were in Moffat over the Christmas holiday when nothing was open and it was freezing. Highlight was watching a fledging chaffinch shouting at it's dad for food following poor dad along the trees.  The fledgings really are demanding.

We tried to try out the new cafe in the furniture shop, but sat down and waited for ages for someone to take our order. Two tables sat down after us and got ther taken straight away, so we hoofed it to another place.  Maybe we sat on the 'do not disturb' table.

It's been a busy few weeks and another busy few still to go,  so I had a nap when I got home and didn't do very much for the rest of the day.
