Bom Jesus

So many photos from today – would’ve liked to add a few to my extras folder, but no idea why that’s not working. Only basic uploads seem to go through. Bit annoying. You missed out on the turtle, the gardens, and the view (which really was something from that high up).

Anyway, went with this one of Bom Jesus church. Got the bus most of the way and then took the funicular to the top – didn’t fancy the 577 steps. It’s 116 metres up. I'd have needed oxygen and probably a lie down halfway.

We did walk back to the campsite from town though – 12,700 steps so far, and I’ll be adding a few more yet with a few bathroom trips. It’s uphill and down dale just for a pee here lol

On the move again tomorrow – hoping to cover a bit of ground across the middle of Spain. Planning to stop only if something looks interesting enough lol again.
