River Etherow

Interesting colours on the water at Broadbottom after a visit to Lymefield Garden Centre.

A real treat was 6 screaming Swifts low over the car park - I am told they are or have nested in the Mill.  

we saw at least 3 House Martin nests in the houses by the garden centre - also many house sparrows ( we have none at home)

Over Monks Road home 8 Swallows seenafter our mostly butterfly Birdtrack walk.

For the records 9:30pm we saw Hummingbird Hawk Moth visiting Buddleia
