Day Trip

Attempt number 2!

Day trip to Glasgow with Miss PHL to renew her passport somewhat urgently as it apparently expired in May (although was accepted for a recent trip to Cork by a budget airline). We were in and out in 10 minutes and she should have her new passport in a few days, in time for her trip to Düsseldorf a week on Friday!

A visit to a specialist running shop to upgrade her running shoes as she’s training for a half marathon in August. She found a size 7 pair which gave her the right support and felt right. She’s a 5 and a 1/2 normally!

Lunch in Yo!Sushi was all the nicer thanks to a 1/3 off voucher Miss PHL had in her emails.

Home in time to take Phin for a walk round Newbattle before we headed out for our regular monthlyish quiz night. Another fun evening and we finished 5th out of 12.
