Coming On

A busy day although limited achievements! 4 loads of laundry washed, dried, ironed and put away (except for making my bed up which I will do as soon as I have finished writing this). Is this an achievement? I rather feel not - just a domestic necessity. 
First thing I visited Julie for a pedicure. Pleasant, but once again I don't really think that this can be classed as an achievement! home and met up with Handyman Dave who cleared out all the gutters which will hopefully meant that next time we have a monsoon the gutters wont all overflow. Obviously this can only be tested in the next downpour. But I am hopeful. A few minutes filing paperwork sorted out yesterday ( a positive I think). 
In the middle of ironing, Margery Next Door rang to say that she couldn't get her TV to work and could I possibly assist. Now, as you know I am absolutely the worst person on the planet to ask for help hen the TV is playing up. However I popped round, changed the batteries in her remote. made sure all the wires were fully pushed in round the back, switched the power off and on again. And then, spent a few minutes pressing random buttons on the aforementioned remote. By some miracle the TV sprang into life!! What did you do asked Margery? Not a clue I said, but just be happy that all now seems to be ok. I think that this counts as an achievement!!
Finally, today's blip is of just some of the tomatoes in my greenhouse. Not yet ripe but deffo getting there. This I feel also counts as an achievement (albeit apart from watering and dosing with Tomerite, I can't claim to be doing anything to aid their development. However I am quite proud of my tomatoes and they deffo taste better than shop bought. (usually)
