The River Tees

Actually managed a slight lie in till 8:15 this morning and after coffee and a walk to Sainsbury’s we pottered around before getting ready to go to Echo 3 for coffee. Then we had a pleasant surprise with LV being able to leave work and accompany us to the coffee shop before taking a trip into the country. We took a 25 min drive to Cotherstone where we were able to take a pleasant walk over and down by the side of the river Tees.

Had a lovely drink with LV’s friends Andy and Sandra before dinner by chef LV: a hearty stew with lots of goodies we were encouraged to name! Finished the crossword again with a little effort and now relaxing before we spend our last night in this very enjoyable town in good company before heading out to the Peak District and a meet up with my sister and her fiancé, plus some walks in the Peaks.
