Dinner with friends

Tonight I met A who lived across the square from me when I was last here. We discovered another coincidence - we’d both studied the Russian method of ballet as children, on our different continents. She invited T to join us who I’d met in Cairo many years ago.
The cafe was promoting the beer shown as it has salt unit. As we’d ordered one each we got a free gift, which was nicely packaged. Our photo was taken for social media and the gift was nice - a tumbler, coaster, bottle opener, salt and a hankie. T ordered a beer and we got a second gift.
While eating and chatting the woman at the next table called to A. They’d known each other in Cairo too, had met in Athens and was here for a holiday. Small world.
It was a lovely evening.
