Joiners on the run...

.....actually, I had tracked them down and they promise faithfully to start work tomorrow, when some further joinery bits and bobs are now due to arrive. We live in hope. 

Elsewhere, the weather was putting on a bit of a show and I observed many long distance walking types in the village and a higher volume of cyclists too. All good for the village cafes. 

I noticed this post box. Although a common Lizzie unit, it's siting in a stone cairn caught my eye.
