Armchaired And Dangerless

Today's image is all about the light. I just felt like capturing something which felt calming and contemplative, almost like an antidote to all the noise that's currently going on in the world, and was looking from our lounge through to what we laughingly call our 'sunroom'. I could see the light casting some lovely shadows across my mum's old armchair whilst highlighting the edge of a half lemon shaped shopping basket (yet another of the totally random objects we have hanging around the house!) but it still needed something else, which is when I saw a fading peony bloom in a vase on the dining room table and it somehow seemed to fit perfectly.
