Decorating

Her 4th birthday party at the end of May was cancelled because her sister was poorly and I've had the cake in the freezer ever since. Today I took it along together with some ready-made icing and decorations for en famille consumption. The  chocolate buttons were the main attraction and their placing required careful consideration.

Upstairs, decoration of the new baby's room is under way. Come September, this one will be a middle child.

Needless to say, there's nothing middling about her.
