Waterside Gite

En route back to the Shuttle we did a small detour to find a gite which Jayne had stayed in around 25 years ago.

As you can see from the photo we did manage to find it! It was close to Wimille, about thirty miles from Calais, and in such a lovely secluded setting.

We managed to catch an earlier shuttle than planned and were back home in Warwickshire by 8 p.m. Now unpacked and the washing machine is on.

I don’t know why the photo is darker than in my photo library on the phone. Curious.
