Bunching up
A couple of months ago I removed about half of the developing bunches of grapes on our vine. That left us with forty-five bunches to grow on. Today I've been thinning out those bunches by removing all the smallest grapes. This should mean that we get bigger grapes this year and, with better airflow, they are less likely to go mouldy. It was a surprisingly fiddly, and very hot, job.
