A nice surprise

I'm not quite sure where this lily came from, I don't remember planting it.  But here it is by the front gate looking very grand.
This morning I met with a friend in Saughton Park, the park was looking at its finest and we had a good chat.
Later on I had a zoom allotment meeting, which has led to more work....
Then I took mum to The Edinburgh Bookshop, she was able to get the Muriel Spark book she was after.
Having a wee rest now.
