Pub with a view
I met up for lunch with 5 former colleagues at the Rifle Volunteer in South East Cornwall, a venue we have visited before because of the quality of the experience. The menu offered good choice and the quality of the food was excellent, as was the service an ambiance. From the rear the view over the Tamar Valley towards South Devon and beyond to the sea was amazing. The scenic drive across Dartmoor to the pub also provided excellent viewing of the landscape, ponies, cattle and sheep which graze the Moor. Luckily it was not my turn to drive.!
