Visible zip

Apart from doing several loads of laundry today following our guests’ departure yesterday, I’ve allowed myself some time off from chores.

Fresh from my triumph with the tiered summer dress, which I confess has been worn several times since I made it, I have started to make another in the same pattern. It’s really helpful because I’m making notes as I go along to help the little grey cells remember all the little things I learned the last time.

So here we have the invisible zip being inserted, which means that it’s very visible at the moment. Once the seam allowance is folded over the zip will be almost completely hidden behind it.
