Dutch tales

Cheers

Watching the first season of Vera.

So, have you heard the news about Raynor Winn (author of the Saltpath)? Yesterday I read some articles of the Observer, being alerted by a colleague. I'm not familiar with news pages abroad. Do you consider the Observer reliable?

The news was that Raynor Winn was a big fraud. As I recollect they had three arguments.

The first one was that she cheated her boss out of a lot of money. That the start of the journey had nothing to do with a friend of them making wrong investments so they lost their house.

That sounds awful. Evidence supplied by the bosses wife.

Second argument was that they weren't called Raynor and Moth Winn. That sounded a little off to me. What's wrong with using another name?

Third argument was that Moth "probably" never had CBD. The word "probably" didn't exactly make for a convincing case. The books are about the miracle of healing due to the walks combined with coming up with solutions for troubles they encountered. Why can't that be true?

Today Raynor replies on Instagram and her website

I'm still not sure what to make of it. I am a bit astonished about how many people and organisations are so quick to judge within a few days. The health organisations they worked with immediately cut the connection. Shouldn't they have waited for a response?
Or am I being naive, eager to believe miracles can happen?
