I always like to see these Heleniums in Bitts Park, Carlisle.  I just love the colours.  Tess had a dip in the river so was a happy little collie.  Afterwards we went to Houghton Hall garden centre which is dog friendly.  Plants were purchased and of course treats for Tess.  Back home to find the road by my house was closed, no notice was given!!  Had to turn back and do quite a detour of around five or six miles!
