Lola the Lap Dog…

Took my new painkiller at bed time. I’m glad the GP told me it will probably take a few days to take effect as my pain level had actually increased when I woke up this morning and my pinky and ring fingers on my right hand are pretty numb. Not a nice feeling.

The pain has dragged on all day but best pal Agnes was here for lunch then we chatted for hours afterwards so that helped keep my mind off it. .

D made dinner (Spanish chicken left over from last night with homemade spicy potato wedges and a green salad)

Post dinner Lola decided my lap was the place to be! She can definitely sense when I’m in pain (not difficult, my grumpy face is a dead giveaway! :-)) and wants to give me extra cuddles. I’m not complaining

My online Tesco order is done so I’m going to have a cuppa with my painkiller then watch the final two episodes of Why Women Kill.

Here’s hoping I stay awake!
