We've had a full day that included a visit to the Gladstone Pottery, where The Great British Throwdown is filmed, then a visit to Emma Bridgewater. 

During breakfast, I had a conversation with a couple, now retired, who both worked as ceramicsists (sp) She made the fine china flowers and he made the Beswick animals. Both thought they had jobs for life but everything stopped in 1997.

Later we visited Morecambe.
