In the garden of our town hall (or civic centre) I found this art work.
It is a kind of artistic picture of our village. I assume the river is the Fischbach, the smaller one of the two major ones. The church at the bottom is the protestant church.
The grey thing at the top, with the black entrance, is the ugly (and controversial) monument to remember the Germans who died in WWI (the Great War) and WWII. Parts of the inhabitants would rather have the monument dismantled, also because of the texts engraved, but the conservative part is stronger.
The tower at the top right is unknown to me. Perhaps the village had something like that in the past.
